The Challenge

Mundipharma are a privately owned mid-sized pharmaceutical company with global revenues of $3.4bn and employing over 8,500 staff. With one of their major licensed drugs coming off patent, the business needed to undergo a strategic transformation. CEO Alberto Martinez engaged Sporting Edge to inspire a change in mindset, behaviour and culture across the business to ensure that the new strategy and operating model was successful. Mundipharma also redefined their purpose statement as part of the transformation and wanted to enhance its clarity and emotional engagement to drive improved performance.

The Solution

Our support initially began with Jeremy Snape designing and delivering some high impact workshops and conference speeches to showcase 'The Winning Mindset’ needed across the business. This acknowledged the need for resilience and communication through the change and a new style of leadership which empowered individuals and teams to collaborate and grow. Integrating these high-performance principles into the recruitment, engagement and reward initiatives brought the organisations’ values to life. With a creative blend of coaching, events and digital coaching using Sporting Edge’s Performance Zone platform, these powerful coaching interventions delivered a sustainable impact. Jeremy also created an inspirational framework for the company’s new purpose statement by delivering a series of bespoke interactive workshops across the global community.

The Result
